What is the Cacao (Cocoa) content of our Chocolate?
Amber Lyn Dark Chocolate contains 55% cocoa, the milk chocolate contains 34% and our white chocolate contains 31% cocoa.

Are all Amber Lyn Chocolate products sugar free?
Yes. All dark chocolate products are sugar free and our milk chocolate products are no sugar added (milk contains natural sugars).

Why do your Milk Chocolate products list sugars in the nutritional data?
Amber Lyn Milk Chocolate products contain milk sugar. This is lactose naturally occurring in milk. However, no sugar is added to any of our chocolate products. All milk chocolate products are listed as "no sugar added."

If you don't use sugar, what is used to sweeten your Chocolate?
Our Belgian Chocolate is sweetened with Maltitol. Maltitol is a plant-based, reduced calorie sweetener that has 90% the sweetness of sugar. Maltitol is a member of a family of sweeteners known as sugar alcohols or polyols. Most of the maltitol on the market today is derived from corn. The maltitol used in Amber Lyn Chocolates is derived from wheat, but it is gluten free.

• It is useful in the manufacture of sucrose-free chocolate
• It has been approved by the FDA as GRAS
• It has little or no effect on blood sugar levels

Does Amber Lyn Chocolate contain any gluten?
All Amber Lyn products except for our Chocolate Covered Pretzels are gluten free and sugar free / no sugar added. Independent testing confirms that Amber Lyn Chocolate contains less that five (5) ppm gluten.

No. Our chocolate contains no chemicals, preservatives, or artificial flavors. It's made from premium Belgian Chocolate with the highest quality ingredients.

What are net carbs?
Net carbohydrates are calculated by taking the total carbohydrates and subtracting fiber and non-sugar sweetener carbohydrates, or any other "non-impact" carbohydrate. Net carbohydrates are the carbohydrates that are actually absorbed by the body.

Where is the nutritional information?

What is the shelf life of Amber Lyn Chocolate?
The shelf life of Amber Lyn Chocolates is typically 9 to 12 months or longer if refrigerated and stored in a dry place.

How do you ensure my order will not melt during Summer months?
During summer months all of our orders are packed with Cold Ice Gel Packs to ensure they stay cool during shipment. It is important to have your order shipped to an address where the chocolate will be delivered indoors and not left in an outside mail box. During hot weather months (May - September) we will only ship Monday thru Wednesday of each week to ensure your order does not spend the weekend in a hot warehouse or post office where if may be heat damaged.

What if my order arrives melted or heat damaged?
If your order arrives melted or heat damaged as a result of shipping, please contact us and we will gladly refund your order or resend your order. However, we cannot guarantee the quality of your order if left at your doorstep or in a mail box for several hours or several days. Please ensure your order is sent to a location where someone can retrieve the package in a timely manner.
